OPEN POSITION 1:
Mechanical Engineering Contractor (Senior Level)
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Contractor to support our Industrial Design team in manufacturing and function related matters as an external AGENT (not a full time position).
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in the field with proven track of Product Design Engineering background, with the following characteristics:
- Highly Experienced in 3D CAE & CAM platforms (SolidWorks, ProE, CATIA, etc.).
- Design savvy (understands the design language and communicates well with designers).
- Ability to work remotely if needed.
- High level of knowledge in manufacturing processes (i.e. plastic injection molding, metals stamping, casting, injection, etc.).
- Proactive and Results Oriented (hands-on prototyping, problem solving, etc.).
- Able to assist the design team in functional, mechanical & manufacturing issues.
- Skilled in Project Management (ability to control timing and budget requirements).
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAE databases for manufacturing based on ID files.
- Coordinate vendors and liaison with manufacturers.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Project Management of the ME phases.
- Scope ME phases of prospect programs together with ID Project Managers.
- Support the ID team with mechanical input during design process (prototyping, brainstorming, etc.).
Specific skills:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record of manufactured products (solid portfolio).
- Ability to work part-time as a contractor (not a full time employee).
- Proficient in CAE platforms (SolidWorks, CATIA or ProE).
- Knowledge of Project Management (MS Project, Merlin or equivalent).
- Fluent in English a must. Fluent in Spanish a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player.
- Able to travel.

OPEN POSITION 2:
Graphic Designer (Junior Level)
Overview:
We’re looking for an exceptionally skilled Junior Graphic Designer with a strong visual culture and sensibility as well as a diverse and compelling portfolio, to join our design team. We look for extreme talent but also enthusiasm and a results-oriented personality.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Highly Refined Taste and Sense of Style Trends (colors, typography, formats).
- Highly Refined Presentation Skills (verbally and obviously graphically).
- Ability to work with a team and switch to different projects according to workflow needs.
- Ability to deliver work in tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of application and production processes (print, web, etc.).
- Proactive and Results Oriented.
- Knows how to understand a general direction and can push other people ideas as well as generate his/her own.
- Understanding of Integrated Branding and Marketing principles.
Responsibilities:
- Generate graphic content for Branding and Marketing programs and follow the design from concept to production (including: naming, logos, applications, packaging, branded environments, etc.).
- Assist the design team generating presentations to clients.
- Generate internal & external graphic and communication materials (web, print, stationary, marketing, etc.).
- Coordinate vendors.
- Participate in client meetings.
Specific skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design.
- Proficient in 2D Adobe Platform (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Web, Motion and Editorial Design are a plus (HTML, Flash, InDesign, Keynote, PPT).
- Fluent in Spanish a must. Fluent in English a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player.
